PA 5-Day SutureStar™ Workshop

Take the Best Route for a PA-C First Assisting Career
Between your home-study 14-hour Suture & Tying Lab and the 5-day SutureStar™ Summit Workshop, you will earn over 54 hours of training preparation. Each day of the workshop, you will perform surgical procedures on simulated human anatomy. Our anatomically correct models are used to facilitate realism in the skills learning process. We have recreated the human anatomy with the meticulous detail required to perform a surgical procedure step-by-step. You can take your time and master your new skills in a pressure-free, risk-free learning environment. Participants will perform surgical procedures each day on our constructed simulators, both as the assistant and as the surgeon. Role-playing as the surgeon gives you a unique perspective and dramatically increases your anticipatory skills. You get to know what a surgeon needs and expects from a well-trained assistant. With the NIFA training method you can practice your new skills within the same surgical context that you would use in real-life. Role playing is an enjoyable and a highly engaging way to master these skills. By the end of the workshop, we guarantee you will be performing like a seasoned expert Physician Assistant/Physician Associate as your newfound skills become second nature.
